    To reach the hôtel-Dieu hospital via public transport:

    • Tram - line 1, Commerce station, or line 2 or 3, hôtel-Dieu station.
    • Bus - line 42 or 52, Gaston Veil stop; line 56, hôtel-Dieu stop and all lines stopping at the Commerce stop.
    • Train - SNCF railway station northern exit, then take tram line 1.

    • Plane - the Nantes-Atlantique airport is located in the town of Bouguenais, next to the Nantes ring road at the Porte de Grand-Lieu exit, around 10 km from Nantes downtown where the hôtel Dieu hospital is located. It has flights to most major French cities and some European capitals. From the airport, you can take a taxi (the cost of the journey between the airport and city centre is between 25 and 35 euros - prices given for guidance only) or the shuttle bus run by TAN (Nantes city public transport) to the Commerce tram station. You can buy your travel ticket on the shuttle bus.

    • from the east, leave the ring road at exit No. 43, Porte d'Anjou and follow signs to Nantes Centre;
    • from the west, leave the ring road at exit No. 30, Porte Estuaire.
